Oak sign for my uncle

I recently made a sign for my uncle John. The sign is made from a beautiful piece of oak, I source my wood from a merchant in Inverness. The sign is 400x150x20mm. The sign was for one of his self catering chalets. I cut a piece of oak, lined it up on the board/working area straight, secured in place, put the details in to the computer, chose the font, checked everything was right and hit go. The running time took roughly 2 hours. When it finished, I sanded down, painted, let dry, sanded and sealed with varnish. The sign is waterproofed and ready for pride of place on his chalet🌲 😃
